Age of Conan: Unchained is the updated version of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, a fantasy 3D MMORPG from Funcom that now includes a free-to-play option, along with some premium features.

Players are now able to freely explore the fiction created by author Robert E. Howard in a violent world. Besides turning into a free MMO game, Age of Conan: Unchained is now also unrated, meaning that it can be more faithful to the original work. This means a brutal and sexy environment like so many few MMORPGs have tried before.

Those who prefer to try the game through the free-to-play option will only be able to choose from four classes, but there is about a dozen overall. There are other limitations, but Age of Conan: Unchained is still a game with a lot of content on offer.

Funcom relaunched Age of Conan with a free-to-play subscription model and rebranded the game as Age of Conan: Unchained. Now, about a month later, the numbers are clear: 300.000 new players entered the world of this MMO.
