EverQuest going free-to-play in March 2012

SOE just revealed that EverQuest, originally released in 1999, will become free-to-play in March 2012. EverQuest II made the transition in December and the original will now follow.

Three models are expected for the revamped EverQuest: free (with some limitations), Silver ($5.99 per month and also with some limitations) and Gold ($14.99 per month).
