Snail Games is hard at work on the third-person free-to-play game King of Wushu, a martial arts-themed MOBA that shares the Wushu style seen previously in the studio's MMORPG Age of Wushu. This time the idea is to go for a fast-paced gameplay style using a perspective that is working so well with SMITE.
A new trailer was just released to showcase the visual prowess of King of Wushu. The game runs on CryEngine 3 and looks quite frankly amazing. The dynamic clothing and hair look great, as well as the lighting and weather conditions. We're just a bit concerned with all those crazy numbers popping up all over the screen, it looks too cluttered and obscures the amazing visuals. Hopefully this will be changed before release.
King of Wushu is planned to be a cross-platform MOBA, combining PC, Xbox One, mini-consoles and mobile into a single game server. We're kinda excited to see how this will unfold.
