ARK: Survival of the Fittest is a new multiplayer online survival arena, or MOSA, from Studio Wildcard, makers of the hugely successful ARK: Survival Evolved. This spin-off has just entered Early Access on Steam and is available to play for free for everyone. Up to 72 combatants will enter in a large-scale battle with the simple goal of eliminating all other survivors. ARK: Survival of the Fittest already includes over 30 creatures to tame and ride with over 75 planned at full launch, and there are several game modes, such as 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, and 6v6.
The full release is planned for late 2017, so there's still a bit of work ahead for the studio.
Oddly enough, while Daybreak splits H1Z1 into two games and makes you pay for both, Studio Wildcard creates a new game and gives it away for everyone to enjoy. Go figure.
