Battlerite is having its first free weekend

Great news for those who still haven't been captivated by the visceral charms of Stunlock's arena brawler Battlerite, a game that is currently in early access and sitting at 94% positive reviews – the first free weekend is about to begin, running from December 1 to December 4. Besides, there's a 25% discount for those who want to purchase early access straight away.

There's also a new Battlerite trailer called Champions Rising that is meant to push more players into the game, something that seems logical given the declining number of Battlerite players. Our opinion? Don't give it too much time on early access, launch the game as free-to-play as soon as possible – as long as you feel confident it is at a proper, polished stage – and the player numbers will skyrocket.
