Blade & Soul hits one million players in the west

After a few years of desperation since it originally launched in Korea during 2012, Blade and Soul has launched in North America and Europe about a week ago and as expected, it attracted so many players that NCsoft had to go and get more servers to soften the extremely painful queues to join the game. However, this hasn't hampered one million players of trying it, as the studio has revealed in a congratulatory tweet.

“The sheer enthusiasm – not to mention volume – of North American and European players that have jumped into Blade & Soul since launch has been tremendous,” said John Burns, senior vice president of Publishing at NCSOFT West. “Blade & Soul is one of the most exciting games for Western players in 2016.”

Blade & Soul is getting plenty of content during 2016 and some of it was already teased, including the Warlock class. If you still haven't tried Blade & Soul, go ahead and sign up, it's free.
