Blade & Soul launches in NA and EU on January 19, 2016

The cat is out of the bag – NCsoft has announced that Blade and Soul officially launches in North America and Europe on January 19, 2016, at 12AM EST/9PM PST. There are still a few closed beta tests to go, but apparently this martial arts MMORPG will skip straight to launch, with no open beta planned, just a head start for Founder's Pack owners that begins January 15, 2016.

Blade & Soul is going to be fully localized in English, French, and German, but NCsoft already expressed the intention of adding the original voice talent sometime later. With seven classes (Blade Master, Destroyer, Summoner, Assassin, Blade Dancer, Force Master and Kung Fu Master) and a max level of 45 at launch, the game is also going to feature two new dungeons not seen during the closed beta tests (Blackram Supply Chain, and E. Fleet Supply Chain) as well as a 1v1 Arena. Regular content updates and patches are planned and in development.

If you've purchased the higher tier Disciple or Master Founder’s Pack you'll be able to reserve the name for your character, with name reservations beginning on January 11.

The next beta runs from November 24 through November 30.
