Surprising news today with the announcement that Bless Online is not coming to North America and Europe anymore, with the cancelation apparently being due to the fact that the developers were too busy playing Hearthstone instead of revamping the combat system. Not all is lost, however, as we’re now getting a Bless Online collectible card game later this year, as the development already seems to be pretty advanced.
Bless Cards is the name of the game and instead of settling for two, or even three lanes such as GWENT, it is going to feature five lanes for each player. Medieval European cities will serve as backdrops for the battles, with Rome being the first name to be revealed – the studio traveled to the cities to get inspiration for the boards. Mounts are said to be featured in a novel way, but there’s no info on that.
While this marks the end of Bless Online, it’s always great to have one more CCG to play, don’t you think?
