Echo of Soul contract renewed, new update Phoenix in the works

If you're playing Echo of Soul in North America and Europe, then here's some good news. Publisher Aeria Games has just signed a new publishing contract with Mr. Blue for NA and EU, so the game will remain live for at least a few more years – there has been some shutting down in South Korea and China, although Kakao Games (Black Desert Online publisher) brought the game back in Korea and publisher Hoga relaunched it a couple of months ago in China.

The best news is that Mr. Blue is actually working on a massive Echo of Soul update known as Echo of Soul: Phoenix, which is planned to be released before the end of 2017.

If you find the name Mr. Blue a bit odd, here's some clarification. Mr. Blue is a leading online cartoon platform in Korea and it acquired the Echo of Soul developer NVius, making its way into the gaming market. The development team remained the same and everything should be business as usual.
