ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance shuts down mid-October

Webzen is closing ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance in mid-October 2016, the studio has announced. It’s the second new game from the studio that is shutting down in October, along with ASTA: The War of Tears and Winds. After the initial launch in November 2015, ELOA didn’t manage to secure a large player base and not even the triple-action combat system and a few expansions were enough to keep it going.

You can check the refund details here and hopefully MU Legend won’t take too long to launch, as Webzen surely could use a new, strong game to keep the studio confident and players happy.

Well, no-one can say that they didn’t have a fair run…but, for many people, the gender locked classes were an instant turn off. With so many run-of-the-mill, cookie-cutter MMOs to choose from, you really have to be offering something original to pull the crowds these days so I’m not really surprised that ASTA is biting the dust too. Today’s gamers, when considering the shear multitude of games available, are fickle – we want exceptional not lacklustre.

Sadly eloa wasnt that bad in closed beta but the nerfs and changes they did after it went live just ruined the game for me tbh
