Ghost in the Shell Online begins Korean beta, new gameplay videos

The first closed beta test phase for the free-to-play shooter Ghost in the Shell Online has just begun, as it was announced before. Publisher Nexon and developer Neople (makers of Dungeon Fighter Online) are running the first beta for just five days, ending on April 12, and the game won't be online during all the time.

Eight characters will be available during this test, each with one unique skill, which can be shared with other characters using the skill share system – obviously, there will be some conditions for this, such as proximity. The beta features three game modes: Team Death Match, Demolition Match, and Team Tactics.

Recently Neople has announced that Ghost in the Shell Online is going to launch in North America first, even if the first beta tests are running in Korea. Nexon America has also announced that Ghost in the Shell Online is launching in several regions besides Korea and North America: Europe, Australia and Latin America.

Here is a couple of new gameplay videos, one of them showing the eight characters and their specific skills and the other one showcasing the game modes in this beta.
