Gala Networks Europe, operator of the http://www.gpotato.eu/ portal, just announced that it will be returning to this year’s Gamescom trade fair to be held in Cologne, Germany, from Wednesday 15th August until Sunday 19th August.
In the public arena gPotato.eu will be located in the “gamespark” area, in Hall 10, where five game stations will be available for Gamescom visitors to check out and play the award winning historical browser-based MMORTS game Terra Militaris. The gPotato.eu staff will be on-hand throughout the event to answer questions about the game and assist new players in getting started. Community members and Gamescom visitors will have a chance to meet, chat and hang out with the Terra Militaris team, including Game Masters and the game’s producer, Gabor Gyarmati.
Gala Networks Europe will also be present in the Gamescom business area, with three rooms in Hall 4.1, Aisle C, No. 010. The Age of Wulin, Sevencore and Allods Online producers will all be in attendance, showcasing brand new trailers, exclusive never seen before content and giving media a chance to get some hands-on time with the games.
In the Age of Wulin room, media will, for the first time ever, be able to get hands-on with a playable demo of this brand new martial arts MMORPG, which is set to enter closed beta tests across Europe later this year. As well as being treated to an exclusive Q&A session, individuals will receive a sneak peak at some of the exciting yet-to-be announced features that have been keeping millions of players engrossed worldwide. Sevencore will also be on show this year, having been officially unveiled to a positive reaction at Gamescom 2011. The fusion-fantasy MMORPG has since gone into beta testing, with French and German CBT servers live since the beginning of July. Finally, Allods Online will be offering up an early opportunity for attendees to test out features from the New Horizons update, due for launch on 8th August, and a chance to preview content from the highly anticipated upcoming sixth expansion.
