GWENT: The Witcher Card Game beta delayed to late October

The closed beta for the highly anticipated GWENT: The Witcher Card Game from CDProjekt has just been delayed. The studio revealed the news to the fans saying that they need some extra time and that a good game is more important than keeping a deadline. One other part of the message rings particularly true: “we can make a first impression only once.” We completely agree, and that is what many other studios should consider doing.

The GWENT closed beta was planned for September 2016 but is now delayed to October 25. This free-to-play card game is an evolution of the one seen in The Witcher: Wild Hunt and is in development for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with cross-play confirmed between PC and Xbox One.
