Hyper Universe gets new map, new hyper, more content

Some new Hyper Universe content is coming to the original Korean version of this MOBA, including a new map and new hyper, Nexon has just announced. Since our Korean is a bit rusty – that is the excuse we always use to hide the fact that we don't really know the language -, we'll just go over the basic idea of this content update, which is planned for May 18, 2017.

First of all there's a new map that you can see in the video at the end of this post. This map is based on an oriental temple and it roughly translates to the Temple of the Patron Saint. A new mode and new skin are also coming with the update, as well as a new character, or hyper, that you can see in the image above.

As is usually the case, all this new Hyper Universe content will be coming later on to the western version, which Nexon America is currently working on. The first Hyper Universe alpha for North America and Europe recently ended and while it was just for three days or so, it was more than enough to see that this is a fun, different kind of MOBA with some really awesome characters. Now we're waiting for the open beta and we are also curious about the “duel” between this and NCsoft's Master X Master, another interesting MOBA that tries to do something fresh.
