Might & Magic Raiders development canceled

During GamesCom 2012, Ubisoft announced three new free-to-play games: Anno Online, Might & Magic Heroes Online and Might & Magic Raiders. Now, Raiders’ development is revealed to have been canceled.

The reason: a “very challenging project for the entire team”. You would expect a team at Ubisoft would have the expertise to develop a cartoonish and free-to-play hack and slash game. But the studio is still going strong on free-to-play games, with the hugely popular Ghost Recon Online, the anticipated A Quest For Mighty Loot and more.
