MU Legend closed beta begins, new class Emphasizer teased

mu-legend-4

Today is MU Legend day, with the start of the first global closed beta. Many players have rushed to this game and some of them are even forgetting that this is an actual beta, which ultimately serves to test the game’s server infrastructure and to discover and fix some serious game issues. So, you’re bound to find some errors and even fail to launch to game, and Webzen is offering some suggestions to a few common problems here.

This first English beta test will run from Tuesday, October 25th till November 8th, with servers in North America and Europe. Future betas are expected to have further language options, including Brazilian Portuguese, Latin-American Spanish, Polish, French and German.

The beta launches with four classes – Blader, War Mage, Whisperer and Dark Lord – but a fifth class is already in the works and visible: the Enphasizer. A female ranged class, she is capable of manipulating objects with her mind, usually sharp objects such as swords.

Richard Moon, Head of Global Business at WEBZEN, commented: “Today is a huge day for us at Webzen. After 2 very successful beta tests in Korea, which generated a lot of hype and overwhelmingly positive feedback, we are so excited to bring MU Legend to the global audience.” He continued: “We are incredibly proud of what we have created. We can’t wait for fans to play the first closed beta and share their thoughts with us and each other. We encourage fans to give us their feedback and help us make the game the best it possibly can be.”

A new MU Legend video detailing the game world, classes and content was released today, you can watch it below.
