Orcs Must Die! Unchained gets a release date and Sabotage mode

Orcs Must Die! Unchained is finally stepping out of Early Access and officially releasing on April 19, Robot Entertainment has announced. The free-to-play launch comes with a major update that includes the new game mode Sabotage.

This 3v3 game mode brings a new way to play Orcs Must Die! Unchained. Sabotage is a head-to-head mode where one team has to defend their rift, while the opposing players will occupy an ‘alternate reality' version of the same map that your team can't see. Both teams have to fight their opponents and protect the rift, with the team that ends the match with the most rift points winning the challenge. The launch update also includes some improvements to the Survival and Endless game modes.

To celebrate the announcement, the Orc Week has just started with 90% off all Orcs Must Die! games and DLC on Steam until April 10th.

“We can’t thank our community enough for the constant support and feedback during the year long beta. We really listened to our fans and Orcs Must Die! Unchained constantly evolved during this period”, said Patrick Hudson, CEO of Robot Entertainment. “Now we are thrilled to gear up for the full launch and can’t wait until veterans and newcomers get their hands on the new Sabotage mode”.
