Straight from Patrick Hudson, Robot Entertainment’s CEO, we got to know a bit more about what’s in store for Orcs Must Die! Unchained, which is in closed beta for quite a while now. The roadmap is now a lot clearer and the studio knowns what has to be done and when it has to be done. While the game is going live in the first half of 2016, an open beta should come before that, as well as other enhancements.
The plan is to improve PvP with “better combat, hero depth, crafting and general offensive gameplay breadth”, release new heroes beginning with the next patch, more and ambitious plans for PvE and “lots and lots of polish”.
Last time we played Orcs Must Die! Unchained we were pleased with what the game had in store, so we’re definitely hoping it gets even better before the final release.
