Grinding Gear Games is preparing the third public stress test for Path of Exile, opening the beta servers for the weekend of July 27-29. Anyone may participate by simply creating an account and downloading the client, something that you may do in advance.
There’s a wealth of content to try, mainly all the closed beta content. This includes two acts repeated over four difficulties (about 69 levels worth of content), new end-game Maps, Default and Hardcore leagues, six character classes, approximately 70 active skills, 40 support gems and hundreds of types of items. The new Act Two boss fight is also included in this patch. Know all the details here.
Path of Exile is an anticipated dark fantasy action RPG featuring a gritty and realistic art style that manages to stand out in the flurry of cartoony free-to-play MMO games. Think of it as Drakensang Online meets Diablo and all hell breaks loose.
