The cat is out of the bag… literally. My.com has revealed the Founder's Packs for Revelation Online and the most expensive includes a flying cat mount, but more on that later. First and foremost, we want to share with you the news that Revelation Online is going to be free-to-play in North America and Europe – the Founder's Packs announcement post begins with this:
“Disclosing a free to play business model, Revelation Online’s beta for Europe and North America is planned for October 2016.”
Oddly enough, the business model FAQ still isn't updated, but English Community Manager Kaeden has already confirmed the free-to-play model in the forums, so there should be no doubt anymore. It's great to see that Revelation isn't going the Black Desert Online way – maybe someone at My.com read our ‘Revelation Online: Is free-to-play the way to go?' article?
The Revelation Online closed beta date was also announced, although somewhat vaguely – it should begin sometime in October 2016. Finally, the Founder's Packs were revealed and you can watch all three of them here. Costing $17.99, $59.99 or $89.99 USD, they give you access to the closed beta, a head start, and the usual exclusive titles, outfits and other items.
