Namco Bandai just surprised us with the announcement of a free-to-play Ridge Racer episode for PC and PS3. Ridge Racer: Driftopia is scheduled for 2013 and developed by Bugbear, the same studio that created Ridge Racer Unbounded. No details yet, but more info should be released soon.
