Drago Entertainment has just unleashed Otherland into the world. The sci-fi MMORPG based on the novels by Tad Williams is now available to everyone and for free, after a period where it was canceled and then revived by the Polish studio.
The official release brings a new game entry and a redesigned class testing area where you can check out all the available characters and their abilities. Several NPCs and quests were also optimized, according to the studio. The next big content update will bring a reworked combat system with improved enemy AI, for a more action combat kind of gameplay, while another large expansion due Christmas will raise the level cap, add new quests and a brand-new world.
Otherland isn’t getting a lot of love from players on Steam but hopefully the performance will improve and bugs will be squashed soon enough, otherwise all the potential could go to waste.
