Sharpen your fangs: Nosgoth closed beta begins February 27th

Will you be a vampire or human? Square Enix and Psyonix just announced that the closed beta for the free-to-play team based online game Nosgoth will begin on February 27th. The beta will also bring a new game mode called Siege, where humans must capture specific locations and keep them safe from Vampires, while the Vampires must satisfy their blood-thirst and hunt down their Human opponents. Nosgoth's main attraction is the Team Deathmatch mode that pits the two very different sides, Humans and Vampires, ranged combat versus melee.

As some of you probably know already, Nosgoth is a free to play competitive multiplayer spin-off from the Legacy of Kain series. The developers assure us that the game won't include any balance breaking items on the in-game store, such as weapons or abilities – instead, players will be able to buy “side-grades, not upgrades” in order to keep the game as a fair experience based on player skill.
