SMITE new patch adds god Chiron and Clash mode

SMITE just received the new Astral Hunt patch and with it arrived the new god Chiron, the Great Teacher, as well as new skins and updated cards. One of the highlights of this patch is the new Clash game mode, a mixture of the fast paced combat of Arena and the pushing and strategy that Conquest offers.

Here is the Chiron official description:

“Chiron is a being of conflicted duality. Two opposites in one form. For all appearances, he is a centaur, bearing the torso of a man, and the body of a horse. Brutish, crude, and violent, the centaurs are not civilized creatures. Yet, Chiron is a scholar, a poet, an astrologer, and a teacher. And for all the wonder and glory of the world he tries to impart upon his illustrious students, Chiron, it seems, must constantly teach them the art of war. It is for their acts of violence, not art or science, for which songs are sung of these heroes.”

And the rundown of the Clash mode:

“Clash is a new casual game mode in which players will play as a team of five against an opposing team to push down the enemy Titan. The map features a large open center with two lanes, as well as a split base where the Titan spawns, further away from the fountain than in other modes. “Clash” plays like a mixture between the fast paced combat of Arena and the pushing and strategy that Conquest offers. The average game time is 20 minutes. This queue provides normal rewards.”
