Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios are bringing Star Trek Online to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Fall 2016. The console versions will include over six years of content (two expansions and 11 seasons worth of updates) originally from the PC version, as well as 32 species to customize your own Captain, which translates into millions of customization options.
Players will get to visit locations including Vulcan, Deep Space Nine, Earth Space Dock and more, and fly in hundreds of classic Star Trek ships and engage in ship-to-ship combat. The current level cap is 60.
The Star Trek Online game engine has been updated for the console release so that it offers upgraded visuals and an enhanced user experience, with a control scheme “that allows players to navigate both the space and ground combat with ease.”
