Strife: new F2P MOBA from Heroes of Newerth makers

Strife was just announced by S2 Games, Heroes of Newerth developer. This is another free-to-play MOBA and the studio expects the two games to compete between themselves, but is assuring HoN players that support to this game will continue for many years to come.

Strife – not to be confused with Hi-Rez Studios’ MOBA Smite – has, accordingly to the developer, a focus on community driven gameplay and mechanics that focus on teamwork and make it easy and rewarding. S2 Games calls this the premier second generation MOBA and will be a game built around a “contributing community” and providing rewards for team collaboration.

So far we only have a teaser and a few screenshots, but you can already sign up for the upcoming beta on the official Strife website. The game is scheduled for next winter.

hey freemmostation, is this game will be like lol, hon? when you have to pay for the hero to play it? I wish this game will be more like dota, you just buy items for the hero not to pay the hero!

In this game you don’t have to pay for the heroes, they’re all unlocked for everyone 😉
