A Sword Art Online MMORPG is probably right up there as one of the things players would like the most to see, and in one way or another, it is happening. Maybe it’s the virtual reality MMORPG Sword Art Online: The Beginning which is in development at IBM, or perhaps it’s another game that is still secretly in the works. Or maybe it’s SAO’s Legends…?
Let us burst your bubble right now – SAO’s Legends is one of those free browser games with Battle Power, or Rating, whatever you want to call it, and it includes the rest of the traditional staples of this “sub-genre”: auto-battle, auto-pathing and tons of flashing “buy this crap right now, the offer of a lifetime” icons. Even the official website is similar to hundreds of others for browser games of the ilk. Sure, you can still enjoy it if you’re a diehard fan of Sword Art Online and would play just anything just to see a recreation of Kirito, Asuna and others, but this is far from AAA quality.
You can see a SAO’s Legend trailer below of extremely bad quality. We won’t go any further on this game right now, as we’re planning on making our very own first look video to tell you more about it, but you probably made up your mind already, right?
