Total War Battles: KINGDOM was the second free-to-play Total War game to be announced – the first one was Total War: Arena – but it is the first one to enter open beta. This persistent-world strategy game is available for download on Steam starting today.
Total War Battles: KINGDOM is set during the chaotic turn of the 10th century, when the world starts to emerge from the Dark Ages divided and at war. Combining intense battles with army management, kingdom building and devious social plotting, Total War Battles: KINGDOM intends to offer rich, bite-sized Total War experiences.
While this is the PC Open Beta, Mac and tablet versions are also coming later this year, with cross-platform play enabled.
