If you like your MMORPGs with a retro feel and preferably based on a popular franchise, then you surely already know about Pokémon Revolution Online, which we reported a few months ago. Now there's another retro 2D MMORPG out there for you to play, it just entered open beta – Twilight Rising, inspired by Legend of Zelda, has entered open beta on December 15, 2015. Twilight Rising is said to include almost 750 maps, over 700 items, bosses, pets, mounts and music from the Zelda universe.
While this all sounds great, we have a feeling that as soon as Nintendo catches word about this game, a cease and desist will be the most likely scenario. Anyway, if you want to try Twilight Rising then head over to the official website.
