Confident on the success of War Thunder – and they should be –, Gaijin Entertainment just announced that they’re taking the aerial combat sim to the PS4. The upcoming console version will be called War Thunder: Ground Forces and will also be an MMO, including an array of optimizations from the original PC version, mostly graphical and social features, as well as support of PlayStation Cloud.
There was, however, no communication on the business model. With the increasing interest of taking free-to-play to consoles, it’s very likely that War Thunder: Ground Forces may be one of the first F2P games for PlayStation 4.
