There’s one more X-Legend Entertainment game coming to North America and Europe soon – Twin Saga, originally known in Taiwan as Astral Realm, is one of the latest games from the studio that created Aura Kingdom and Dragomon Hunter, among others. Aeria Games is once again responsible for the localization and publishing duties, with a release planned for later this year in English, German and French languages. Twin Saga is already confirmed as free-to-play, so no surprises in store there.
“With freely swappable classes, a deeply immersive world, and a unique mobile housing system, Twin Saga is going to set a new high-water mark for anime fantasy games,” said Tom Nichols, COO, Aeria Games. “X-Legend has been a terrific partner with us for past successes and Twin Saga is shaping up to be their strongest effort yet.”
One of Twin Saga’s highlights is the mobile housing system, which means that each player has a customizable home base – the Terracottage – that can be progressively upgraded as they make their way through the game. These mobile homes can roam through the central continent and are also the place for you to develop professions and crafting, such as a greenhouse, cooking station, alchemy lab, and more.
The story of Twin Saga tells us about Marisa and Amaris, twin goddesses who couldn’t possibly be more different from one another. At odds over whether the human world should be allowed to exist beyond the end of time, the sisters went to war with each other. With the evil Amaris seemingly victorious, players will assume the role of an orphaned human that represents humanity’s last hope for survival.
You should be able to sign up for the Twin Saga closed beta right now at the official website and you can watch the announcement trailer below, as well as two exclusive videos from the Astral Realm closed beta: character creation and intro, and level 10~18 gameplay.
