News:

Trion teases new game, could be Devilian Online
Trion Worlds is about to add another game to its growing catalog. So far this is just a guess, but it all points to the Korean Diablo-like Devilian Online. The publisher of Archeage, Trove and a few others went over to Twitter to post an enigmatic image of a devilish creature with the text “It lies in wait, the devil inside us all.” So there’s a clear devil theme to the game, and fans already discovered that the image is pretty much taken from a Devilian Online wallpaper. We would say the mystery is already solved, but let’s wait for an official announcement from the studio.

Fashion enthusiast? Blade & Soul begins its costume contest
Besides detailing the free-to-play business model, NCsoft has launched a costume design for the upcoming Blade and Soul. In a game known for its outlandish fashion designs, you’ll have to be particularly imaginative to be one of the winners. If so, you’ll get a few treats as well as the privilege to see your costume making it to the game. Blade and Soul begins its closed beta this fall, after over 2 years of complete silence.

Are SMITE makers teasing Global Agenda 2?
We haven’t heard anything from Global Agenda 2 for quite a while now, but it’s no secret that the game is in development. Hi-Rez, makers of the acclaimed MOBA SMITE, are working on this game for a while now – it was first mentioned in 2012. And now, during a Smite Charity stream, we could see a glimpse of a new game, with everything pointing to it being Global Agenda 2. From the small bits we can see that this is a competitive first-person multiplayer game, and it fits with the previous news that mentioned Global Agenda 2 being a 5v5 PvP-focused game with eSports support. We doubt that Hi-Rez is working on another big game right now, so our bet is that this really is Global Agenda 2. More news should come out soon.

Tree of Savior revamps English website
The ambitious MMORPG Tree of Savior seems to be coming along nicely. After being greenlit on Steam in less than 10 hours, the official English site has been revamped. Developer IMC Games is clearly putting a lot of effort on Tree of Savior, having already confirmed a release in western territories and giving full support to English-speaking players who are expecting this game. The revamped English website includes a huge FAQ which details a lot about the game’s mechanics and issues, so they’re not leaving anything to chance. The Steam release is actively being worked on, so this is great news and goes against the usual trend with western launches of Korean MMOs – two, three years after the original release, if at all.

‘Find the Game’ Quiz

What’s better than fighting in a space ship? Well, fighting in a big-ass capital ship, of course. This is a 5v5 game with all the makings of a MOBA, but it’s way more slow-paced and tactical than your usual team-based competitive game. And it’s not Dreadnought, in case you’re wondering. The first one to write the answer in the comments will see his name featured in the next Free to Play Unlimited episode.

Most Wanted: Civilization Online

You would expect a new Civilization game to launch in the west, but Civilization Online is actually another one of those crazy Asia exclusives. What is going on? Developed by XL Games, makers of Archeage, Civilization Online takes a new spin on the famous strategy franchise – while the main game objectives and mechanics remain, including the different ages, it is now closer to your average MMORPG, with winning conditions, quests, and characters for you to control, such as a soldier or a farmer. It looks great and the PvP focus could make for a really fun game.

Anyway, you’re watching the new trailer where you can see a bit more of the characters and world. The final Korean closed beta begins July 14th and runs until July 18th. While it could come to North America and Europe, just as Archeage did, we wouldn’t hold our breath.
