Hyper Universe is Nexon's free-to-play MOBA that features heroes – known as hypers – inspired by pop culture icons such as Bruce Lee, Transformers, Power Rangers, Korean popstars and much more. One of the big twists of this game is that it's not your traditional isometric or third-person MOBA, going instead for the unusual side-scrolling perspective. This immediately distinguishes Hyper Universe from heavyweights such as League of Legends, SMITE, Dota 2 or Heroes of the Storm, but it is far from a simple gimmick – instead, it actually brings something to the gameplay such as strong platformer mechanics and an unusual level of verticality to the maps.

Hyper Universe is straight up fun and while it can also provide all the thrills that competitive players seek in a MOBA, this one is going to be more enjoyable as a distraction, a side-MOBA (if you actually need that) perfect to kill some time and relax with these often crazy characters.
