Before we get to the info, a small disclaimer for the most distracted: this isn't a surefire way to join the Blue Protocol beta test; it is simply a way to sign up with the rest of them, and Bandai Namco will be the judge. Still, it's better than not having a shot at all.

You don't need a VPN to create a Bandai Namco ID, although it's unclear if the Blue Protocol beta is going to require one. If it does, you should set your region to Japan in order to play the game.




And now, it's time for the instructions.

  •  Head over to the Bandai Namco ID website.
  • On the top left, click the “First time users for Bandai Namco ID” button.
  •  When the sign up window appears, only pay attention to the “Sign Up With an Email Address” area.
  •  Add an email address and password.
  • In the Terms of Service window, make sure that you choose Asia and Japan as your region.
  • Wait for the authentication code to arrive, add it where requested and click “Authenticate.”
  • Bandai Namco ID should be successful. Add some extra info such as gender and date of birth to finish the process.

The next step is to go to the Blue Protocol closed beta test page and sign up. Scroll to the bottom of the page where you can find two buttons: “Already have a Bandai Namco ID” and “Those who do not have a Bandai Namco ID.”

Since we just created a Bandai Namco ID set for the Japan territory, click on the left button. A log in form comes up, so add your email and password as previously created and click “log in.” If everything went according to plan, you should be seeing a message congratulating on signing up for the Blue Protocol beta test.
