Rogue Company Age Rating

Being a shooter means that bullets will fly and bodies will hit the floor. That's exactly what happens in Rogue Company, Hi-Rez Studios and First Watch Games' new competitive entry in the crowded but popular genre. It's obvious that the devs' goal is to make it as broad and appealing as can be, but without detracting from the grittiness that is intrinsic to a game where you down your opponents via many weapons and gadgets. With that being said, what is the Rogue Company Age Rating?

What is the Rogue Company Age Rating?

Rogue Company is rated T for Teen, as you can see in the cinematic launch trailer below. According to the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board), this shooter includes blood, suggestive themes, and violence. It also offers in-game purchases and user interaction, two features that the board wants players to know about.

Despite the above items, Rogue Company is far from being an ultra-violent, hyper-bloody shooter. In fact, it's quite tame when compared to games such as Doom Eternal or the upcoming CrossFireX. It's fast-paced and frantic, with bullets zipping everywhere, but you won't see any kind of gore that is going to make your stomach turn. It's a very clean game, somewhat similar to Valorant, and it clearly is a considered approach that is bound to make the game appeal to teenagers and adults alike.

Now you know everything about the Rogue Company age rating. Rogue Company is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, featuring cross-platform play and cross-save support from day one. The PC version is an Epic Games Store exclusive, so it's unknown at this time if Hi-Rez is ever going to release it on Steam. Rogue Company is already getting quite some attention and things are likely to be even better later this year, when it hits the official launch as a free-to-play game.
