Albion Online, the cross-platform sandbox MMORPG from Sandbox Interactive (yes!) enters closed beta on November 23, the German studio has announced. The first ones to try the beta will be the Legendary Founders, with the Epic Founders and Veteran Founders joining on the 24th and 25th of November respectively.
Albion Online has been in a succession of alpha tests for quite a while and during this time the developers added several features, including treasure chests and shrines, upgradable private islands, labourers (hire these NPCs to gather resources for you), and even a combat system overhaul.
You can jump straight into the Albion Online beta when the time comes if you purchase a Founder's Pack, otherwise you have to be on the lookout for giveaways or sign up and hope for a key. Here is our latest video on Albion Online with some impressions and gameplay from the summer alpha.
