Black Desert Japan enters pre-Open Beta in April

Black Desert Online seems to be progressing nicely in Korea, with over 1,5 million players already registered and the seventh class Valkyrie coming soon, but other regions are also about to get the game. Take Japan, for example, where the MMORPG will be published by GameOn. The publisher has announced that Black Desert is going to enter pre-open beta in Japan on April 1, a test phase that will only run until April 10. This will be a very limited test, with only 10,000 players joining.

While Black Desert is in open beta in Korea since December 2014, it is expected to enter beta in North America and Europe in 2015, if the publisher's (Daum Games) plan to set up offices in NA goes as planned. The game is also in the works for Russia through publisher GameNet and there are talks about taking it to China.
