Black Desert Korea adding IP block in March

Pearl Abyss acquires CCP Games

As you're probably aware, Black Desert Online is launching in North America and Europe in March 3, 2016 as a buy-to-play game. This means that some players may be interested in keeping playing in the Korean version, as it wasn't IP blocked… so far. Daum Games has announced that when the western version releases, the Korean version of BDO will IP block certain foreign IPs/regions.

While a “seamless gaming experience for global users” is stated as the reason for this decision, we're fairly confident that it had to do with pointing players of specific regions to their respective Black Desert version.
