Black Desert: new video shows NPCs, monsters, broken armor, dye system

Daum Games and Pearl Abyss released a new Black Desert video showing a few more features of this highly anticipated MMORPG. This time we get to contemplate many of the NPCs that we're going to meet in the game world, as well as a few of the monsters and imposing creatures.

Things get even more interesting when the studio shows one of the features that hasn't deserved much attention until now: the armor breaking system. We see the four playable classes in full set of shiny armor and clothes and then we get a glimpse of the same outfit but torn apart in some places. Finally, we see a bit more of the armor dye system and the way it lets you change the colors of the armor and accessories such as earrings and arrows.

The Black Desert open beta begins December 17 in Korea and we've been spoiled with a lot of new trailers, from combat to character customization, world tour and quests, and a features trailer, among others. Daum Games has to limit the open beta to Korean players, but Black Desert is getting a Western beta during 2015.
