Black Desert tops 1.5 million registered users in 100 days

Things are going smoothly for Black Desert Online, it seems. Daum Games and Pearl Abyss have just announced that this highly anticipated MMORPG has surpassed 1.5 million registered users in just 100 days. With the Korean open beta, which began on December 17 and that we've covered right up to the tiniest detail, Black Desert has seen the playerbase ramp up to the very respectable 1.5 million, and to celebrate, Daum is launching an event this weekend. You can see the event poster below, but don't forget to brush up your Korean.

Black Desert is seeing a really cool series of updates. In just a little over four months, along with a host of fixes and content updates, Pearl Abyss already released two new playable classes to the game – Beast Master and Blader -, with the seventh class, the Valkyrie, coming in April. Black Desert is coming to North America and Europe in 2016, with a beta expected during this year.
