Long gone are the days when a weapon was simply this static thing that you used to whack your enemies with – for example, in the upcoming martial arts MMORPG Blade and Soul, weapons have an upgrade system that allows them to grow in power and ability just as your character does. NCsoft details some of the weapon stages and the transformations that ensue, so that your weapon will be constantly evolving and changing stats and appearance. It's not just weapons either; there is a selection of accessories that also increase in power in the same way as weapons do.
