Blade & Soul getting Gunslinger class and game switching to F2P in Korea

Blade & Soul is getting the 10th class, a Gunslinger, in Korea soon next year with a new update. This one will probably be officially called the Soul Gunner and is a dual pistol wielding class that you can meet at the final minute of the new trailer below. The update also raises the level cap to 60, introduces a new continent known as Surak and new skills for some classes.

And now some good news for our fellow Korean gamers – according to the ever reliable Steparu, Blade & Soul is going free-to-play in Korea next year. The game always required a subscription for anyone to play after reaching level 16, so this won't be an issue anymore. It will probably include a premium subscription just like the North American and European versions.
