Being a martial arts game, Blade and Soul needed an action combat system to make players feel like part of its ruthless world. NCsoft has just described the combat basics in a new article, covering topics such as targeting (where you generally need to be facing your opponent), as well as action and reaction (for example, if you're knocked down as a Destroyer, your skill options will change to a give you a number of different abilities that allow you to jump back up into the battle).
It's a short, straight to the point article that you should read if you're planning on playing Blade & Soul. Founder's Packs are already available if you want to jump in as soon as possible.
