Bless Unleashed open beta date revealed by Bandai Namco

Bless Unleashed open beta

The Bless Unleashed open beta date was just revealed by publisher Bandai Namco. The free-to-play Xbox One exclusive will enter open beta starting November 7, 2019, running until November 21, 2019.

Bless Unleashed is a free-to-play game and the open beta should give you a good idea about its potential. Developer Round 8 Studio, a part of Neowiz, is “working tirelessly on Bless Unleashed.” You can pick from several classes and explore the open areas, or dive into dungeons and raids with a few friends.

Based on the feedback from the closed beta, the development team improved various areas. From performance to client and server stability, to combat and movement, aspects that deserved some player criticism. Some players said that combat felt somewhat slow, among other bits of feedback.

Combat movement speed was improved for the open beta, dodge distance and speed was increased, attack animations don't lock for you as long as they did, and sprint stamina cost was decreased. These are just a few of the changes for the Bless Unleashed open beta, but you can read them all here.

Bless Unleashed is Neowiz's latest try at the Bless franchise. Bless Online was the disappointment that everyone knows by now, but hopefully this new MMORPG will show that the team learned its lesson. At least, they are going free-to-play from the start, unlike the chaotic mess that was the release of Bless Online as a buy-to-play game in the west.

While Bless Unleashed is advertised as an Xbox One exclusive, a PlayStation 4 version was spotted on the Brasilian Rating Organization, so this is probably going to be a timed exclusive.
