Blue Protocol closed beta date teased for late March

Blue Protocol closed beta date

Bandai Namco has revealed more details on the upcoming Blue Protocol beta test. One crucial bit of information is that it is once again exclusive to players living in Japan, but judging by some tweets, everyone and their mom is going to put that VPN to good use. We can't vouch for them in this specific situation, but it is a method that is usually reliable. Moving on, the Blue Protocol closed beta date is set for late March, with a final confirmation on the days coming soon.

The beta will run for roughly four days, or 75 hours as Bandai Namco puts it. There are 50,000 slots this time, a significant increase from the 10,000 alpha openings. The application period runs until March 2, 2020 and you need a Bandai Namco ID in order to apply for the beta test.

All the characters and progress that you make during the test will be wiped after it concludes. The next testing period will begin with a blank slate for every player, something understandable since the game is still in permanent change. After the beta, players are encouraged to give their opinions and feedback so that the devs may improve the game.

Those who win a Blue Protocol beta key will be able to invite one friend as well. The method for doing so is yet to be revealed, but this is definitely a good thing for those who prefer to play with friends.

Blue Protocol closed beta date

As soon as we have news on the Blue Protocol closed beta date, we'll let you know. Players from outside Japan should look forward to this game as well, as Bandai Namco recently posted a job offer asking for a localization director with English skills. Coupled with the goal of “impressing the world” and the English, Russian, Korean, and Portuguese language files found within the alpha client, it's a given fact that a Blue Protocol global release is being planned.

Here are the recommended Blue Protocol system requirements for the closed beta:

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit Japanese version)
  • CPU: Intel Core  i7-7700
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphic card: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX580 (8GB)
