Chronicle: RuneScape Legends enters open beta on March 23

Chronicle: RuneScape Legends shut down

If you're curious about Chronicle: RuneScape Legends and you didn't get into the closed beta, don't you worry no more – this board game meets CCG is entering open beta on March 23. During its 10 weeks of closed beta, the game saw 700,000 games played, with players creating 185,000 customized decks.

The open beta brings a host of additions including deeper gameplay, new modes, progression, customization and all new Legends joining the earlier content. Two new playable Legends, Venescula the Vampyre and Morvan the Slayer Master join the existing four characters, and a new mode called Dungeoneering tasks players with creating a drafted deck and battling their way through ever increasing PvP challenges. You'll be able to customize the Legends with the first collection of skins, which are earned by leveling up a Legend, or unlocking them within the Chronicle Store. The Skilling will make sure players are rewarded by their actions with experience points in one of the game's skills, which will then lead to customization unlocks. Leaderboards will show the best players and there are two new environments: The Wilderness Crater & Barrows.
