Closers Online is officially coming to North America and Europe this fall

En Masse Entertainment has officially announced that the action RPG Closers Online is officially coming to North America and Europe. Developed by Naddic Games, a team with experience in brawlers, as some of its staff worked on Elsword Online, Closers is a stunning anime beat'em up that is finally releasing in English later this year. A series of Closed Alpha tests are planned for September, and the beta follows this fall. Will it be a Closed beta, or is Closers jumping straight into open beta? We don't know the details yet.

In Closers, players become elite agents of UNION, an organization dedicated to dealing with the threat of interdimensional aliens spilling through a series of mysterious portals that have appeared throughout New Seoul. Mixing high school life with saving humanity from the alien threat is no easy task, especially if they have exams coming. But we're digressing.

Closers Online is going to launch in North America and Europe with five characters, members of the Black Lambs team: Seha, a reluctant combat genius, Sylvi, the dedicated leader, Yuri, the skilled martial artist who only recently discovered her powers, Misteltein, a prodigious young boy with amazing support skills (and a trap, if you're not paying attention), and J, the grizzled veteran with a troubled past. Of course, each character has unique skills and weapons, as well as advanced jobs. Additional characters will join the game further down the road, such as Violet, Tina, Harpy, Wolfgang Schneider, Levia (or Revia, we're still not sure after all this time) and Nata.

This is the Closers Online western announcement trailer. With this and Kritika Online, En Masse Entertainment nails two quality anime brawlers, yet they are very different games at heart.
