Cosmic Break 2 revealed, video shows cute anime girls with big guns

Cyberstep has just revealed Cosmic Break 2, the sequel to an anime shooter released in Japan in 2008 and that is still available. You can expect the same fast-paced gameplay and team-based arena action, once again with kawaii anime girls holding big guns. So far, three characters have been introduced: Lunastasia (16 years old), Fiona (17 years old), Crimrose (16 years old). It seems that the maps will have some kind of destructibility to them, but nothing much has been detailed yet. Here's the official Cosmic Break 2 Japanese website.

Cyberstep is the publisher behind Onigiri, the enjoyable anime action MMORPG, also available in English, so we're confident that Cosmic Break 2 will eventually get an English version too.

I remember, when watching MMO Grinder’s review of Onigiri, seeing Cosmic Break 1 briefly in the beginning of the video along with ‘C21 Steel Chronicles’ (he recapped Cyberstep’s history quickly). They both looked really colorful and fun! Like a blend between… I dunno, Gotcha Force or Virtual On and Terra Tech or Robocraft visually. Which looks really good!

I’m surprised to see Cosmic Break get a sequel, but I’m looking forward to it! Though I still need to dig into Onigiri personally. I am not good at juggling multiple things 😛
