Crossout welcomes Halloween with Witch Hunt PvP mode

Crossout Halloween

Crossout just started celebrating the Halloween season. From October 19 through November 9, you'll get to battle on a new night map, compete in a new PvP mode and earn Hazardous Sweets.

First of all, in the Witch Hunt mode, players have to get Halloween Pumpalloons and keep them for as long as they can. All players are using an identical vehicle without any weapons and the only means of stealing the balloons is by ramming your enemy. Think of it as Destruction Derby but with balloons.

The Crossout Halloween update also brings the first night map ever in Crossout. Sector EX is the name and it's set in an abandoned industrial complex located at the center of the map. The darkness will limit your view and this turns combat into a much more close and personal affair.

Finally, Gaijin Entertainment revealed that all victories in all Crossout PvP modes and completion of daily tasks during the next three weeks will earn you Hazardous Sweets. There are used to craft Fright Containers, which may include exclusive decorative items for your vehicles – things such as paints, car horns and avatars. Of course, you can also sell your sweets on the market to turn in a profit.
