Dauntless Early Access ending, 1.0 launch with new season Aether Unbound

Dauntless Aether Unbound

Phoenix Labs has just announced that the Dauntless Early Access is about to end. Its successful monster slayer game will transition to the 1.0 launch on September 26 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The launch also brings the new season Aether Unbound, with a new weapon, Behemoth, Hunt Pass, bounty system, and more. This is just a small step for Dauntless as it grows over time, with more content updates for years to come.

The new weapon coming with the Aether Unbound update is the aether strikers. You'll be able to use it on the new Dire Behemoth, Tempestborne Stormclaw. The new bounty system will allow players to hunt and earn experience through different ways, and a new Hunt Pass brings formidable new rewards.

The Dauntless roadmap is the place to go if you want to take a peek into the future of this co-op action RPG. The Nintendo Switch version is just one of the things that the Phoenix Labs team is working on, always aiming for its concept of “One Dauntless”, featuring cross-platform play.
